The Power Of Words

I need to start sharing what I write on Facebook, too. Because if I’m going to write a book someday, I need people to read what I write. I need them to be interested. I need them talking about it.

Writing can still be part of my healing, but it doesn’t have to be just for me.

I’ve had people tell me before that something I wrote helped them. And I’ve read things other people have written that have helped me.

Words are unbelievably powerful.

They can hurt. Absolutely, they can hurt. But oh my gosh, they can heal. They can mend. They can build.

Words can be anything you give them the power to be.

And I need to stop worrying about how what I write comes across. If someone doesn’t want to read it, they don’t have to. They can keep scrolling.

But maybe someone will read it. Maybe something I say will resonate with them in a way I never expected.

And that’s what matters.

Because writing helps me. And if sharing those words can help even one other person, that’s reason enough to put them out there.
